NEWTEC Upgrades PEB40 Wicket Baggers to PEB41 with Touchscreen Controls

Our range of PEB40 bagging machines has been updated. They are now called PEB41.

  • The new machines are mechanically identical to the PEB40-series, but now include a touch screen integrated in the cabinet.
  • This has made the cabinet 80 mm wider than the old type.
  • All other measurements are the same.
  • The touch panel is the type known from the 4000-series.
  • This will ease operation and service on the machine.
  • Performance data is the same as for the old type.
  • Internally the rack is removed and replaced by two EtherCat modules.

New products and packaging on display in Ag-Pak’s booth at the 2019 PMA Fresh Summit Convention and Expo

Thank you to everyone who visited us in our booth at the PMA show in Anaheim. We were kept busy answering questions and showing off new packaging machinery such as the Eriez Extreme Metal Detector and the C-PACK 1029 Fully Automatic Net Clipper. JASA’s new Bag-2-Paper vertical form, fill, and seal bag and bagger was very popular due to the all-paper bag. NEWTEC has a new High Speed Container Filler which interested people with its ability to easily switch between container types. We also had a Daumar CB-148 Bagger which makes the attractive D-Pak Bag. We look forward to seeing everyone at our next show, the Potato Expo in Las Vegas this coming January.

Juan Carlos Alegria Joins Ag-Pak as Texas Field Service Technician

(September 4, 2018) – Ag-Pak, Inc., Gasport, New York, has hired Juan Carlos Alegria as Field Service Technician. Alegria, based near McAllen, TX, will service Ag-Pak’s customers in South Texas, Southern US, and Mexico. In addition to field service, Alegria will assist with sales efforts in the region.

Andy Currie, President of Ag-Pak, says “Carlos has a strong background in equipment installation and repair within the produce packaging industry. Our business continues to grow in both Texas and Mexico. He will greatly increase our level of service with these customers.”
